Who runs this site
Garage Door Repair Connect is owned and operated by Connect Network, based in the Phoenix area. You can reach us at hello@garagedoorrepairconnect.com.
We're a matching service, not a contractor. We don't perform garage door repair work, sell equipment or employ technicians. The companies that receive your request are independent businesses, and each one gives you its own quote and warranty.
Research Methods & Contractor Standards
This is how we decide which companies receive requests and how we build the cost and repair information on this site.
Contractor standards
Before a company can receive homeowner requests, we ask for the following, and we only send requests to companies that provide it:
- An active Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) license number for the type of work, which we look up on the ROC website
- Proof of general liability insurance
- The ZIP codes and job types the company actually serves
- Agreement to contact homeowners promptly and give written quotes
If homeowners report problems such as no-shows or misleading quotes, we can stop sending requests to that company. We don't publish reviews or ratings of companies, and we don't rank companies against each other.
Research methods
- Cost ranges come from published sources such as national cost guides, Arizona contractors' own price pages and city or utility reports. Each guide lists its sources and the date we checked them.
- Local rules (for example city water, sewer or permit rules) come from official city, town or utility pages whenever we can find them. Where we can't, we say so.
- We label prices as typical ranges, not quotes. The company you hire sets the actual price.
- We review our guides regularly and update them when sources change. If you spot an error, email hello@garagedoorrepairconnect.com and we'll correct it.

How we make money
Homeowners never pay us. Your request may be shared with up to 5 participating companies, and each participating company that receives it pays us a fee. That fee doesn't change what you pay, and you never have to hire anyone. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is shared.
Corrections & updates
When we correct or update our guides, we note it here. Newest first.
- October 2026: Added city guides for Surprise, Goodyear and Buckeye, built from city documents and census figures. Added sourced sections to the cost guide on trip fees, labor vs. parts, after-hours charges, warranties and replacing one vs. two springs, plus a quote checklist. Added labeled diagrams of a garage door system and of torsion vs. extension springs. Removed title angles we couldn't support, such as "after-hours help" on the Phoenix page.
- October 2026: Added neighborhood and USPS ZIP code lists to city pages and a metro-wide community list to the locations page.
- October 2026: Added pages on emergency help, cable repair and panel replacement, with sources re-checked on October 26, 2026.
- October 2026: Corrected per-spring prices so they consistently include labor (HomeAdvisor), updated opener repair figures to HomeAdvisor's June 2026 update, aligned the Phoenix panel range with Angi's table, and added the National Weather Service as the source for monsoon dates.
- October 2026: Removed speed promises such as "same business day" and replaced them with what we can actually say: we ask companies to respond promptly, and they set their own schedules.
- October 2026: Removed climate claims our sources didn't support and labeled sponsored content as sponsored wherever we cite it.

Do companies pay to be on Garage Door Repair Connect?
Yes. Each participating company that receives a homeowner request pays us a fee. A request goes to no more than 5 companies. That's how the service stays free for homeowners. We only send requests to companies that give us an active Arizona ROC license number and proof of liability insurance.
